A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickens’s novella follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly London businessman, who is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his former partner, Marley, and subsequently by three spirits representing Past, Present, and Future. Through these spectral encounters, Scrooge confronts the consequences of his avarice and isolation, witnessing the suffering of the poor and the indifference of his community. The narrative culminates in his profound repentance and transformation into a generous, empathetic figure, embodying the holiday spirit of charity and connection.
