Alice and Sparkle
4.5/10
mimi’s ratingPurchased because it was the first example of an AI written and illustrated book I'd seen. It honestly isn't very good but I love it as a historical artifact reminding what was possible in 2022.
Alice and Sparkle is a children's picture book featuring a heartwarming story of friendship between a young girl and a robot. The narrative explores themes of companionship and connection through the interactions of its two central characters. As a self-published work from 2022, it is notable for being an early example of a book written and illustrated with the assistance of artificial intelligence, serving as a historical artifact of the initial wave of AI-generated creative content.
