  1. Jun 30, 2022Twitter · reply@qualiamechanics Hmm… the community and the possibility of sharing spoken ministry with each other is different- I’m there to listen in silence, but I do have expectations of what I’ll hear- peace and compassion and gratitude… I often end up a bit teary over the suffering in the world
  2. Jun 30, 2022Twitter · reply@qualiamechanics I do attend Quaker meeting where I sit in silence with others trying to be open to God / inner light / conscience, but the thoughts that arise aren’t like you describe, so I’m trying to figure out what the difference is… 🤔
  3. Jun 30, 2022Twitter · reply@eurydicelives (This is for twitter conflicts where there are no real stakes and everyone is free to walk away- irl I also get into conflicts when I feel like I’d be doing inner violence to myself if I go along / stay quiet)
  4. Jun 30, 2022Twitter · reply@eurydicelives I imagine how it might unfold- if I’m confident I can predict it then I’m bored and won’t engage… if I get curious then at least I might learn something.
