this is a good and fair policy i only delete after i recognize a typo that could obfuscate the message
yeah I occasionally do the quick delete n repost w typo fixed... but if it's done immediately there's low risk of someone writing n posting a thoughtful orphaned reply... if I don't catch it immediately I'll post a reply w correction
