What if the server owners don’t like the political stuff and just kick you off anyways? Or do you mean just you can prolly find _someone_ to host you that is fine with it? Also would it work both ways? Or just like a mute list kinda thing.
yeah and the goal is portability so you can pick up your posts n social graph n identity (DID at least, domain if you use your own) and move without losing everything, like how a website can move to a new provider and most users don't notice the change
