it's a systems problem it has nothing to do with anyone's skin color software developers that have ever had to somehow normalize personal data run into this over and over. it's a Hard problem with a capital H. names, phone numbers, addresses, dates and times.
the name field could be one long field instead of chopping up names into arbitrary first / middle / last, I think this would work better
