automatically following all accounts on platform in hope they will follow back is basically spam
I feel like there are other reasons to follow lots of ppl though- I've had ppl criticize the number I follow but they're all ppl I'd like to hear from and fewer than the number I follow on Twitter (where my notifs & DMs are for ppl I follow only, following someone is opting in to hearing from them)
