It's not just that to me. Like I think someone who only socially transitions is still trans. I think if you're non-binary and say you're trans you're trans. I don't want to gatekeep the term, that leads bad directions.
I don't even want to socially transition tbh- I have a woman's body and hormones and that's all fine it just doesn't mean anything deeper to me... I like the word trans bec somehow in my mind it got encoded as short for "transcending" rather than transitioning
also I like the idea of transgender as just one early exploration of transhumanism and I def want augmentation when the risk/benefit is a bit better
