The concept of home owner associations is so weird to me. Only a municipal German government has even remotely this much power over one’s property and it’s still less than I.e. allowing the usage of drive ways for parking or regulating the height of grass.
lol the HOAs have way more detailed rules because they're a private contract among the original owners
