lol no no see this is the problem w even talking abt it- the ppl who are fine n fun back away vs the ppl who set off alarm bells stay oblivious
like, 90% of the problem is that they don't mentally note & respond to minor signs that they're a bit too *much*, so then it always feels like looming tension between more forceful pushback vs accepting more attention/ forced intimacy than you really want
