we need to rebuild respect for truth before factional mythology and to seek out good faith difficult conversations even (especially) w ppl who's beliefs are deeply offensive to our sensibilities.
it's funny, every time I visit Monticello someone will wonder what future humans might judge us for similarly to how we judge historical slave owners... to me the obvious answer is meateating... 🤭
