A lot of people that have access to the cultural microphone are not builders or innovators. They do not grasp basic economic principles and they are not exposed to enough diversity of thought and experience.
yeah, I wish we had more friendly interactive tools for ppl to get a feel for the economic constraints on their visions for the future- and how important innovation is to enabling all the stuff they want
