IMO the only viable way to safety maxx is to opt-in maxx. Default to seeing nothing and being seen by no-one. Add clauses of the form "See X class of post" or "have Y class of my posts / profile information seen by Z class of people".
safetymaxxing seems incompatible with social media use cases? If I cared that much I'd only talk to ppl one-on-one over encrypted chat?
