We'll still get blocklists, they'll just be implemented in a far worse way that means you can't unsubscribe and have to unblock everyone manually from your personal list if you find it's a mistake.
ehh I bet you can implement it in a good way if you're willing to keep your own DB of which blocks come from which lists and run a periodic job to translate list updates into block/unblock commands
