You do several rounds of this and you would learn they want a person that normal people watch who is the exact kind of communist they are and makes people feel good about being educated and socialist and that's a completely different Kind of Guy than Joe Rogan, like that's a whole different dude.
i think functionally Rogan plays an appealing but relatable everybro - his target demographic can see/imagine themselves in him and they like what they see- somehow the right mix of asking probing questions, being likable, and acting like "just a dumb guy" not superior
idk what the correct mix would be for the left, but i assume there probably is one? just, a different demographic so different mix of traits to get to "i see myself in them and like what i see"？
