@emilyabell @MommaBear115 @mattyglesias At this point it's endemic and masks are only somewhat effective, vaccines much moreso but still not 💯, there's gonna be transmission and some severe cases... I don't think it's the best use of political capital to fixate on mask mandates anymore.
@emilyabell @MommaBear115 @mattyglesias We should be fixing rapid test availability, improving healthcare system resilience / surge capacity for this and future pandemics, subsidizing ventilation tech... And most of all getting our institutional act together so we make better decisions in the next crisis.
