@tontus_ponret @RokoMijic How do we learn whether NTs have an internal distinction between what is socially advantageous vs what is accurate? Even if you frame convo to allow contrarian views, and then they express one, did they already hold the view or did they subconsciously shift to match new context?
@tontus_ponret @RokoMijic (my work PM will start a meeting by stating 1 + 1 = 3. I'll debate him that actually 1 + 1 = 2, we'll go back and forth and eventually he'll conclude "of course 1 + 1 = 2... That's what I said to begin with!" He seems to genuinely believe it, which I find mystifying)
