@Timlagor @robinhanson We're moving record high amounts through the ports, consumers are buying more goods than ever... So only in the sense that it takes time to scale up supply chains to meet increased demand, and suppliers are hesitant because they've been told current conditions are "transitory"
@Timlagor @robinhanson I will add that supply constraints are not evenly distributed- suddenly constrained inputs like semiconductors, shipping, and labor are allocated to their most valuable uses and lower margin clients are feeling the pinch, will have to adjust.
