@Noahpinion we lived with filibuster for so long and did well as a country... If the real problem is that politicians have lost the ability to compromise, then allowing the majority to impose their will may result in wild swings of legislation undoing prev senate each time majority changes
@Noahpinion Imo what's changed is information environment- media & social media howling any time someone makes a small move towards compromise... We should find a fix that restores smoky backroom illegibility necessary for compromise
