Everyone here is questing away on their own heroic journey, feel like the odd one out as a self-aware NPC.
But I am- learning to manage my bipolar without taking mood stabilizers means accepting a life that is smol, steady, placid... A happy existence, but a simple one, on the sidelines.
I know I'm not doing anything that will "change the world" ... Most people won't- and that's not a bad thing because we can't keep up with 7 billion changes- but it sometimes feels like I'm not allowed to admit that I've accepted this reality.
As an NPC I'm available to tag along and maybe help a Main Character on their quest. Not sure how to find the right one, but I am available and open to this sort of role if it comes along.
Oh also- at the bottom of my emotional ocean there's a deep unchanging sense of "okayness" that's developed over the years... Used to think everyone but me had it from birth, but the ways people have responded to the pandemic makes me wonder if I've got that wrong somehow?
