@eurydicelives The obvious stuff- giving full attention (not on phone etc), nonverbal signals of interest, asking clarifying questions and leading questions anticipating where the conversation is going, allowing pauses for thought, being more receptive than decisive
@eurydicelives The place I feel most heard is my religious discussion group- Quakers have these particular conversational norms of silence and sincerity that are very calming.
