@eurydicelives In the moment either say Hm thanks for telling me, or pester them with follow up questions if they’re the sort of person who would indulge me in trying to analyze it with them. It would really bother me and I’d probably go for long walks or something to digest it.
@eurydicelives The context would matter a lot for how I’d interpret it… there are people where I don’t want to be too entangled in their emotions and intentionally don’t respond to their bids for intimacy… in those cases I’d be ok with this conclusion.
