@nascentwisp I think it’s interplay of public square and GCs / DMs… it’s the RT/QTs and whatever algo sorting helps people find new follows and see their best tweets… it’s the energy spent to tamp down gaming the system w bots / antisocial behavior…
@nascentwisp boils down to the ratio of worthwhile Vs draining social interactions… I like: - getting to talk about my interests vs the usual weather n sports n news n tv - right size snippets for conversational thoughts - people who have their own interesting takes, novel ideas
