@robbensinger @brickroad7 Perhaps I leapt to the wrong interpretation bec I’ve had a prev convo w a MIRI person where I felt like the conclusion was, if I’d read Superintelligence by Bostrom and not come away convinced & scared then I’m probably too dumb to get it, but also too dumb to help
@robbensinger @brickroad7 And I think there’s some truth to this maybe? That some ppl read it and have one reaction- that it all adds up to scary conclusion and what they must now work on- and others read it and are still skeptical
