@eigenrobot My theory is kinda yeah… it’s like when the printing press accelerated the Protestant Reformation as a lot of ppl became aware of and unhappy with the church and empowered by literacy / printing / Bibles to demand better institutions
@eigenrobot The painful part is the disillusionment, but the hopeful part is that “the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice” - like we’ll close the gap between ideals and reality by reforming & improving 🫶
