Listening to lunch convo between some very loud fast talkers abt “Elon lost $200B and he could’ve used that money to solve world hunger and he didn’t!!! He’s so selfish!!! All billionaires are evil!!!” Like, sigh wrt the issue of paper gains & liquidity…
But the more interesting question is, given $200B what’s the obvious solution to world hunger?
(Also, sigh, I’m complaining to Twitter bec I feel I shouldn’t argue back too much as senior dev / their superior kinda… and also idk what to say that would be helpful to this very emotive conversation)
