@MasterTimBlais depends a lot on circumstances- is it one on one conversation or a big group? did they try to change subjects in other ways first? is it a topic many ppl would find inappropriate / sensitive? i left a GC yesterday bec i didn't want to hear some guy's gang rape fantasies 🤷♀️
@MasterTimBlais imo rapid escalation sounds like trauma making the person hypersensitive and i think that they should feel free to walk away from triggering conversations; hopefully they'll be more able to deal w the topic when they've healed more?
