@louis02x hmmm... gradient of closeness, I feel like the most common threshold is have I been in a GC (groupchat) with the person, bec you get to have more back-and-forth and get a better feel for them than just tweets & replies. I also have private lists bec the algo is annoying
@louis02x I don't automatically follow back but do try to scroll my recent follows and follow anyone who seems likely to tweet interesting things... the compromise being I sometimes unfollow when I feel like I'm not enjoying what they're adding to my TL, for whatever reason
