@ThatShawGuy @eigenrobot yeah... like, a guy walking up to a 6' tall woman and telling her she's shorter than "men" because avg female height is 5'4" and avg male height is 5'9"... 🙄 ... but when the trait is less directly observable this becomes more accepted
@ThatShawGuy @eigenrobot I can see how ppl get reactive on both sides of this- the avg height difference is a fact ppl should be able to discuss without being called "offensive" but otoh if you're a tall woman who's repeatedly heard "you're shorter than men" it does get annoying
