@deepfates I'm curious what you think a "good" debate would look like? imo this was *interesting* bec they'd both prepared and yet it was scattered w a lot of thinking on the fly- suggests there's less understanding of each other's positions & contours of the disagreement than i'd thought
@deepfates which imo is hopeful and suggests that further efforts engaging would perhaps uncover points of agreement and focus the points of dispute so ppl know where the uncertainty lies & how we might reduce it
