😫 why must I choose between receiving notifications for each of the 500 messages dissecting a friends' messy breakup or never again receiving a notification when ppl are making plans?
GC UX I would like- notification on first few messages, then auto-mute unless I opt in to that conversation ("conversation" defined by rapid successive messages between a subset of chat participants)
Ideally I'd love a menu of active ongoing conversations w current topic & # of messages, so I can join in whenever I have the time + interest... Discord would work much better if I could navigate it this way
