@AISafetyMemes what's your expectation of how it would play out when it happens? this matches my expectation- they hired ppl for evals for AGI a few months ago when it became an internal debate, came up w a set of evals that they agreed was "agi", and have been using them to test models recently, the models are doing well on them, and now there's rumblings about "well, do we announce we "have agi"?"
