@xlr8harder it's good to have an option that doesn't rely on fuel deliveries & mining & transmission lines and the price has come down sooooo much it's cheaper than nuclear (the nuclear price is partly regulations but it is what it is currently)
@xlr8harder oh also, better construction & appliances & batteries along w solar makes off-grid a lot more feasible & livable without compromises, which is attractive in places where the power gets cut for various reasons
