i really doubt the galaxy brain takes abt OpenAI firing & rehiring being a plan, vs commonplace emotional conflict & miscalculation my mental model of sama is fearless, driven, knows and uses any power he has to achieve his goals, doesn't care abt convention, not personally greedy... "communication breakdown" w the board is unsurprising- as confident charismatic founder who's been on a W streak he figured he could do whatever he thought best and tell the board to pound sand if they disagreed the board being ideologically motivated rather than investors were foolish enough to think they got a real say while sama was winning... lol lmao
