@kendrictonn lol went to Rothko exhibit at Nat Gallery yesterday, he killed himself after lifetime of loneliness & suffering, had lots of his later works... dark grey-blacks & then light lavender-pink-blue that were nontheless funerary somehow
@kendrictonn btw also Phillips Collection Rothko Room is the best place in DC to experience his big pieces as he intended them...
