i know this tweet will go over poorly w some moots, but it's been weighing on my conscience to stay quiet: two friends who visited chaos and elle came away regretting their stay and told me exhausting stories of drama and trauma. hard to judge what happened when each had arrived with heavy baggage... but there's enough red flags that personally I'd be unwilling to visit. meanwhile chaos is banned from vibecamp; i wish the reason was public so folks could make informed decisions about other events without having to be plugged into the right whisper network it bothers me we tweet nonspecific warnings about bad actors in the community, but mostly no one name names - there are so many kind trusting socially-naive people in our community who deserve to be told *who* to evaluate with extra caution, not just vague gestures to feel we've done something while risking nothing. so, everyone please take care of yourselves 🫶
