what factors go into whether you verbally greet a stranger in a public space?
like ppl will start a brief conversation from 50 ft away when im walking thru the neighborhood but then i get to the main commercial street and don't necessarily interact w ppl i pass on the sidewalk... and it's so automatic, no conscious calculation just feels right
