personally.... ideal approach is quietly confident, gentle but sure, very authentic, warm, attentive and responsive to me: might be someone i'm vaguely aware of, friend of a friend or something, noticing me and joining in whatever i'm doing with warmth and enthusiasm; making a bit too much eye contact with me & smiling too much, shyly, when i notice; introducing himself and asking me friendly questions, remembering my answers and sharing something about himself in return- authentic and relaxed vibes, ability to laugh at himself not trying too hard to be impressive meanwhile noticing my nonverbal interest in him and initiating some casual touch, standing a bit closer to me than he would with a friend... maybe doing something kind or generous for me or a friend of mine when the opportunity presents itself; having a positive / constructive attitude about whatever is unfolding around us; relaxed confidence & thoughtful behavior, a clear mind (not drunk or angry or nervous), an occasional compliment finding a quiet moment to hold my hand & share silence together... slowly leaning towards me so i realize he wants a kiss, letting me move towards him before closing the rest of the distance to actually kiss me, so gently... lingering, then slowly pulling away while watching for my reaction- a shy smile perhaps? maybe kissing me again more deeply and moving his hands to hold me, pulling me closer, warm and gentle and responsive... i hesitate n pull away a bit, he notices n immediately relaxes his touch and allows me space, watching and waiting to see what i want... and what i want is more of him, so i pull him towards me and we kiss again when we pause for a breath, he gently asks if i'd like to find a more private spot (ideally already has one in mind)... maybe i say yes or maybe i say let's go for a walk first... and we hold hands and walk together, seeking a quieter darker place while continuing a soft conversation, attuning to each other...
