@nickcammarata i get mail and calls about selling my home fairly regularly, it irritates me greatly.... ofc what you describe would be somewhat different than "we buy any home" / "here's an unconditional offer" (below market) ... might be better framed as "you have a beautiful home, if you ever consider selling please let me know" (implicitly same message, but less presumptuous imo)
@nickcammarata oh also depends how remote and what time of day... id be kinda freaked out if anyone other than my two neighbors knocked on my cabin door since it's pretty remote n hidden
