@eaccocortex @prerationalist Marriage ending != having someone "better" in the wings... marriage is a high trust mutually beneficial relationship, ends when someone feels it is net negative / the trust is broken and they don't want to give any more... and even for the marriages that end because someone found someone "better", the stats on the longevity of relationships when started as an affair would suggest "better" isn't actually an upgrade?
