uhhh lol i was lazy to find the right source n quote, but was remembering something i read encouraging ppl doing creative work to not get discouraged when they see that their own output is bad- that learning an art form is both increasing taste & increasing skill w better taste as ur feedback, and that u have to increase taste level first and then that drives more growth... so, thinking the same thing wrt embarrassment- is the sense of cringe ugh i suck -> orients us for change?
