i used to logic myself into giving people more chances if i couldn't make an airtight case against them i feel safer and less internally conflicted since i realized this was overriding valuable insight and promised myself i would listen to my intuition to make the final call.

and tbh listening to my intuition doesn't always result in risk averse decisions- for example, i invited bf to stay and live with me within a week of meeting him... i wouldn't have if operating on conscious rational judgement alone; but i've built confidence in my intuition as it as proven accurate again and again, so when it said yes to bf, i said ok yes
