once upon a time i was quite good at coding competitions, i know i could leetcode my way back to that ability, but really should i?
or possibly focus on my graphic design skills so i'm less frustrated by my limitations, really shift into UX & design?
or fix my insecurities & lack of soft skills to do something more interactive & collaborative?
some of my flaws: -- more engineer than hacker mindset, have to force myself towards expediency over aesthetics & "the right way" and abstractions -- hyperfocus / scattered focus, sometimes i get a lot done and other times not much at all; i'm good at turning a big idea into a list of tasks but not good at following through -- niceness & frustration when collaborating, depending on the other ppl's vibe- i do well w very soft sensitive SWEs, get upset w ppl who trample me / don't seem to register my nuance
-- i'm a slow thinker, insights often start w vague nonverbal feelings that take pondering to translate into words, not great at verbal sparring especially w a group -- i overcomplicate things, everything is multifaceted & connected to everything else
