@Nominus9 i think it's like.... you have to be ok with some ppl hating you but simultaneously sensitive to the group's opinion overall, because if you're too scared of any one person disliking you then fear of their judgement keeps you low status...?
@Nominus9 more specifically, i mean you have to have a few public principles that matter more than being everyone's best friend, and be willing to make an enemy when someone crosses them, this earns respect if ppl mostly admire the principles
