@Nominus9 yeah, i mean i think what often happens is someone climbs by ingratiating themselves with the right power brokers while bringing other things like money or mean clever humor or crazy fascinating creativity or beauty etc... can gain status without actually treating everyone well
@Nominus9 so they gain their high status and then their character flaws lead them to misuse their power in at least small ways and resentment builds but ppl feel they can't complain about someone clearly popular ... which is true until it isn't, the dam breaks n resentment flows
