and i think ppl are too paranoid and loss averse in their reactions- saying they'd keep it secret and not change their lifestyle... ofc I would put it to use- accelerate my goals and open my mind to more possibilities and imo being mysterious creates distance w friends

like, it would probably cause some relationship strains- to be asked to pay for things and have to decide what feels right and be assertive, some ppl won't be happy with my decisions, inevitably... but i really do think my immediate family n close friends would be cool about it

and otoh, having ur own pile of cash makes you a more comfortable friend for other ppl with money- who are often very interesting ppl and potentially great new friends... hopefully i could get the Bezos DC house hosting regular salons
