@voooooogel the SFHs are often 2 to 4 stories? the cost differential to build a SFH vs condo isn't much when regulations & etc are factored in, vs the discount ppl expect for a condo vs SFH; plus most of the land is usually zoned for SFH only
@voooooogel also different calculation depending on local conditions- like in FL the single story tile roof for hurricanes, in earthquake zones extra requirements, basements more economical where there's deep frost line vs not where there's high water table
