astute observation- safetyists have trouble imagining healthy relations between humans and AI because they also have trouble relating to other humans
(tbc it's worth paying them a bit of attention bec they are acutely, painfully aware of relational failure modes ... but otoh "You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.")
