sigh i am tired of olympics gender discourse, so ofc here's my 2 cents... my fave sport does not have separate competitions per gender (equestrian); imo this works fine & should be the default... when one bio sex is so much worse at the sport that the competition would be dominated by one sex, then come up w a sport-specific measurement for a Limited division, similar to how Lightweight Crew enables ppl w a different physique to compete in rowing, but always have a Open competition where anyone can compete- and leave gender out of all of it
