but recently i've been coming around to the idea that modern urban life sets us up to be uncomfy by default, from childhood
like, we have contracted awareness... but also we spend most of our lives with literal walls around us blocking sensory experience from beyond the space of a room
we are ungrounded- we walk around in hard soled shoes on harder flat surfaces that don't engage the senses of the feet- walking is dull ache, trudge... and yet we're surprised that our awareness is in our head not our feet?
